Amsterdam – The OCOM Group finished number 27 in the 2009 Deloitte Technology Fast50, the annual election of the fifty fastest-growing technology firms in the Netherlands. OCOM is the owner of hosting provider LeaseWeb, the CO2-neutral data center EvoSwitch, and network service provider FiberRing.
OCOM’s ranking in the Fast50 was announced during the official Fast50 award ceremony at The Talent Factory in ’s-Hertogenbosch on Thursday, October 29. Being number 27 in the Deloitte Technology Fast50 actually means that OCOM is the fastest-growing Internet service provider in the Netherlands. OCOM achieved sales growth of 860 percent, to 24.5 million euros, over a five-year period (2004 through 2008). For 2009, OCOM is expecting to generate sales worth 35 million euros.
